Open Office

What office suit do you use?  I personally have been using Microsoft Office until one day I stumbled upon Open Office.  Open Office is a free office suit that is pretty much identical to Microsoft’s Office Suite.  The best thing about Open Office it is multi-platform!  Open Office is available for Windows, Linux, and MacOSX.  It is also available in many different languages.

Open Office is the number one open source software suite for word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, graphics, databases and more!  Open Office has compatibility with most of Microsoft Offices Documents and other standard documents.  Open Office features most of the same features that you would find in Microsoft Office which is great because your getting it for free!

Open Office is a 20 year old project that has evolved since it first became available.  Open Office design is really simple and you should have no problem getting used to is especially if you have all ready used another office suite you should fly threw it without a problem.  Open Office is also a completely open development process which means that you will be able to report bugs, request new features, or enhance the software with your own additions instead of being forced to use what you get.

I feel Open Office is a great program.  Especially it for being FREE it’s just great.  You don’t need to spend hundreds of dolor’s for another office suite when Open Office can all ready do it for you for FREE!  Check it out you will like it!
