Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 Campaign

I really don’t know if it is just me but it seems Microsoft is pushing its newest browser Internet Explorer 8 to the max.  They have even diverted to LIEING about its product.  Microsoft released a “Get the Facts” page trying to state how good Internet Explorer 8 is over Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome.

Yeah I know its hard business but Microsoft has gone to far with this.  Going ahead and making false assumptions and falsely advertising  its product is just wrong.  People wonder why I really don’t support Microsoft and this is the biggest reason why I personally don’t support them.  Microsoft has been beaten in the browser market and they cannot face the facts.

The biggest thing that got me going though is when I saw Microsoft’s comparison chart.  I couldn’t help but find it amusing.  It’s one of the biggest jokes Microsoft has launched yet.

Microsoft has also gone to bribing to attempt to get its browser used.

In the United States, Microsoft agreed to donate meals for the needy every time the browser was downloaded.   Not saying this is a bad idea, but how they are going about it.

In Australia I guess that track did not work so well so decided to create a game with $10,000 as the top prize.  To be able to win the money and play the game Internet Explorer 8 must be used.

I really don’t know what to say about all of this.  It is all just a big wrong mess that Microsoft is playing.  This is not the first time they are doing this and it probably will not be the last.  Tell me what you think about this whole ordeal.
