Havoc on Twitter

Twitter has had it’s share of issues throughout the weeks.   Twitter was interrupted by two DDOS attacks which knocked it offline.  The first attack knocked Twitter offline for 2 hours the second attack was able to be defended but not totally successful knocking Twitter offline for 30 minutes.

Mozilla Triggers Auto Update 3.0 Users

Thursday Mozilla began issuing auto update commands to those who still use Mozilla’s Firefox 3.0 browser.  This will be the first attempt by Mozilla to get it’s users to update to Firefox 3.5 before it discontinues support for Firefox 3.0 in January 2010.

Google Caffeine

Google has made public a major upgrade to their search engine today.  Codename “Caffeine”, the new search engine has improved it’s index size, speed, and changes that value of search engine rankings.
